Lyle Joe Caudill

Lyle Caudill passed away peacefully on June 18th 2023 in Omak, WA. Lyle was born October 9, 1937 in Wenatchee, WA to Grant and Clara Caudill. He spent his early years in Disautel until the family moved to Omak. He attended Omak schools, graduating from Omak High School in 1955. He attended the University of Washington, graduating in 1963. Lyle married Lorna Flint in 1958. They welcomed their daughter Linda in 1959 and their daughter Karen in 1961 while living in Seattle. The family moved to Omak in 1964. They welcomed their son Larry in 1967. Lyle had a lengthy career in banking. He started at Seattle First National Bank after graduating from high school, working at the Omak branch. He transferred to Seattle and worked in the proof department while he was attending UW. He eventually transferred back to the Omak branch where he was the Assistant Manager for many years. He moved to Mid-Valley Bank for several years, and spent the last of his career at Farmer’s State Bank in Winthrop. Lyle enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his apple orchard, working on his family’s property in Conconully, and watching football. He spent many years working on the sideline chain gang for Omak High School football. Lyle was also involved in many civic organizations and activities. Lyle is survived by his wife of 64 years Lorna, his daughter Linda (David) Thiemens, daughter Karen (Jon) Larsell, son Larry Caudill, brother Wayne (Jan) Caudill ; Grandchildren Robin (Jason) Jensen, Greg (Stacey) Thiemens, Chrissy (Kevin) Miller, Brittany (Kevin) Tangeman and Ryan (Bryanna) Alumbaugh; Great Grandchildren Rikki Miller, Kendra Miller, Luke Jensen, Sam Jensen, Hope Thiemens, Emma Tangeman, and Lily Tangeman; nephew Dr. Tim (Linda) Caudill, and niece Julie Krug. Lyle was preceded in death by his parents Grant and Clara Caudill, brother and sister-in-law Dr. Robert and Marian Caudill, niece Julia Rader, nephew David Caudill and sister-in-law Nancy Caudill. A graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery at 11:00 am on Friday June 30th. A potluck will follow at the Riverside Grange Hall at 317 N. Main in Riverside.
