Judith Brauer

Judith (Judy) Marie Brauer, of Omak Washington, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2022 at the age of 84. She believed in God and always prayed for helping others in need. She loved attending Trinity Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. We know that she is now with her heavenly father. Judy was born on August 11th, 1938 in Mankato Minnesota to Louis and Eva Bulow. Her family re-located to Omak Washington when she was 5. She attended school in Omak were in high school she met her loving husband Jack Brauer. The cheerleader married her Football player on March 31st 1956. She worked for many years in the apple industry packing apples first for Holt in Omak and retiring from Stemelt in Wenatchee. Judy enjoyed going on family picnics, camping, taking rides in the country and taking pictures. She loved to travel and went on many trips with family and friends. She was passionate about TOPS because of all the great friends she met there. She loved encouraging others to meet their goals and especially loved attending the conventions and meetings with them. Family and her friends meant everything to her. She had 5 children and lovingly brought in 4 of her brother in-law’s children into the family when a traffic accident took his life. Judy is survived by her husband of 66 years Jack Brauer, Daughters Tami (Dean) Miller and Lori Brauer, Sons Jack and Larry (Cindy) Brauer, nieces and nephews she raised, Debra Blaine, Bill Brauer, Joani Blaisdell, Roger Brauer, 14 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 sisters, Lois (James) Combs, Barb (Jim) Corrigan and Eva (Brian) Breen. And will be reunited in heaven with her parents Louis and Eva Bulow, sister Beverly Ames, and daughter Terri Leigh. A service will be held for Judy at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 9th 2022 at River Valley Funeral Home on Elmway in Okanogan. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon prior to the service. Judy will be laid to rest at the Okanogan Valley Memorial Gardens following the chapel service.
