Brenda C Bryan

Brenda Charmaine (Denton) Bryan, 75, passed away peacefully at home on September 20th surrounded by her family. She suffered a major stroke after her twelve year battle with cancer and osteomyelitis. Despite the constant pain she endured, Brenda had a positive attitude and always chose to help others before she would think of herself. She was a bright light to her family and everyone who knew her. She was born to A.C. and Colleen Denton on October 22, 1946 in Omak, WA. She attended all years of school in Omak and graduated with the class of 1965. She was involved in Pep Club, but her favorite activity was being with her many friends. She married Nicholas (Nick) Bryan on June 5, 1965 in Omak, WA. They later moved to Burien where Nick worked at Seatac Airport. In 1973, they moved back to Omak and remodeled their 1910 farmhouse where she’s resided ever since. Brenda was always an entrepreneur and had many businesses over the years including Apple Valley Inn Restaurant in Okanogan, B & S Bargain Barn, Country Collections and Omak Import Motors in Omak, WA. She met her soulmate, Steve McClellan in 1997 and they have shared 25 years of their love for ATV riding and drives to the mountains around her favorite place on earth, Conconully, WA. She leaves behind her partner, Steve McClellan of Omak, WA, son Steven (Stacy) Bryan of Everett, WA, Sister Karen Denton of Bellingham, WA, Brother Harland (Amy) Denton of Omak, WA, Half-brother Bob (Kathy) Plant of Shoreline, WA, grandsons Kristofer Suder of Leander, TX, Jacob (Taylor) Suder of Omak, WA, Granddaughters Arica (Jason) Turner of Clarkston, WA and Heather (Travis) Hudson of Fort Bragg, NC. Great-Grandchildren: Brayden Suder of Georgetown, TX, Leeopold Turner of Clarkston, WA, Kasen and Hesston Suder of Omak, WA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents A.C. and Colleen Denton of Omak, WA, husband Nick Bryan of Omak, WA, and daughter Tamece (Bryan) Mallock of Bouse, AZ. A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on October 15th at 1 pm at the Okanogan Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Conconully Rd, Okanogan, WA followed by a luncheon at the Community Hall in Conconully, WA
