Paul Arthur Hawk

Paul A. Hawk passed away on Monday April 11. Paul was born March 20 1942 in Leon Iowa to Arthur and Clarice Hawk.Paul went to school at Hardscrabble Country School and then Davis City School. Paul worked in the wheat fields in the west. He then drove truck for R.H. Filton Pipeline CO. through many states which is how he ended up in Washington. Paul worked in Darrington for Jack Faucet trucking and later went to work for Summit Timber hauling wood chips and G & D hauling logs. Many people knew Pual as “hawkeye”. Paul later moved to Oroville Washington and he worked for Reece Brothers. Paul finished out his trucking years hauling cattle and hay for his good buddy Bunk Ayers. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Arthur & Clarice Hawk, brother in laws Edward Leib & Fred Fitch all of Iowa and daughter Pam Almli of Oso. Paul is survived by his wife Susan Hawk of Omak, his sisters Peggy Leib & Twyla Fitch of Iowa, and his kids Jeff (Teresa) Smith and Gail (Ron) Blacker both of Oso. Suzette (Dave) Russell and Brian (Julie) Mount both of Darrington Cory (Kristy) Mount and Stacy (Carl) Tuttle both of Omak. Numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren and nieces & nephews. Also many great friends! A celebration of life will be set for a later date.
