Larry Vernon Breiler

Larry Breiler passed away on May 29th 2022. Larry was born in Tonasket, Washington on September 18th 1946 to Glen O. Breiler and Elizabeth (Nicholson) Breiler. Larry attended school at Okanogan High School and graduated in 1964 Larry went two years at Big Bend Community College before enlisting in the Air Force in 1966 and serving until 1970. While in the Air Force he served in South Korea, the Philippines, and Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. Larry worked as an Electrician on C-130 transport planes and helicopters. Once out of the service he used the GI Bill and a Tribal Scholarship to get a BA degree in Business Administration from Eastern WA State College. Larry worked for BIA Credit for several years before completing an apprenticeship program an apprenticeship program at Grand Coulee Dam and becoming a Operator on the generators and switchyards. Larry retired from the Bureau of Reclamation at Grand Coulee Dam. Larry moved back to Omak and built a home to enjoy his retirement years. Larry especially enjoyed spending time with all his family and friends. He enjoyed keeping up with sports on TV and had a incredible recollection of various statistics of every kind of sport teams and players. Larry enjoyed fishing, target shooting and hunting. He was preceded in death by his father, Glen O. Breiler and brother, James "Jim" Breiler. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth (Nicholson) Breiler, his sister, Darlene Giesen; and his brother, Glen "Ron" Breiler. There will be a graveside service 11AM, June 2nd, 2022 at the Ellisforde Cemetery.
