After high school he attended Spokane Community College and later Heritage College obtaining a Master’s Degree in Education. He worked at the Department of Social Services for over 20 years. He enjoyed many years of coaching kids in various sports. Jay was the proud father of his two children, Courtney and Payton, and was so excited at the birth of his first grandchild, Oshun.
