Geralyn Regina Covey
August 25, 1955 - February 13, 2022
Geralyn entered eternal rest, alongside her husband, David Covey, on February 13th , 2022. The 6th of 13 siblings, Geralyn (Jer) was born to Rose (Huschka) and Thomas Krebs, in Dickinson, North Dakota, on August 25 th , 1955. Jer was raised in rural North Dakota and attended Regent Public School grades 1 -12 in Regent, North Dakota. In 1975 she married Darold Zentner and moved to Riverside, Washington where they operated an apple orchard. The couple started their family in 1976, with the birth of their 1st son, Shannon. Their second son, Dean, was born a few years later in May of 1980. In 1999 she met and married Dave Covey. Jer had a dedication to hard work and agriculture throughout her life. After working in the orchards, she began a career with Hamilton Farm Equipment retiring after 30+ years. By this time she had become a beloved figure in her community. Jer had many talents including gardening (sharing produce with friends and neighbors), quilting, woodworking, doing puzzles, playing guitar and singing. She enjoyed relaxing on the back porch with her husband Dave. She was a devout catholic and attended Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Jer was a beloved mother and grandmother and enjoyed teaching and spending time with her loved ones. She will be dearly missed by her son and four grandchildren. Geralyn was preceded in death by her son, Shannon Zentner and parents, Rose and Thomas Krebs. She is survived by her son Dean Zentner, grandchildren Gabi, Sophia, Wyatt and Rogan Zentner, as well as her two brothers and ten sisters. A Rosary and Mass will be held starting at 5:00 P.M., Friday, March 25th 2022 at the Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Memorial Services will be on 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 26th 2022 at the Okanogan County Agriplex.
