Catherine Bernadette Hanway, 49, of Nespelem died June 10th 2022 in Spokane, WA. Catherine was born February 22, 1973 in Seattle, WA. She is survived by daughters, Alexia Hanway, Nelly Selam, and Dorla Selam; Mother, Lottie Atkins; sisters Lilly (Rob) Stanger, Lori Ann (Fred) Cayou, Idella (Nate) King, and brother, Leon Rattler; Uncles, Arnold (Connie) McCraigie and Darrell Hanway; Aunties, Kathryn Hanway and Darelen Hanway Lopez. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul J. Hanway; her Maternal grandparents, Edward & Esther McCraigie and her Paternal grandparents, Ernest & Nellie Hanway; siblings, Baby Girl Edwards, Baby Boy Edwards, Loren Edwards Sr., Louis Edwards, Leeland Edwards, and Eddie Hanway as well as her son, Sky D. Hanway-Washington and other Aunties and Uncles. Rosary will be 7pm, Tuesday, June 14th 2022 at the Nespelem Community Center. Funeral Mass will be held 10AM Wednesday, June 15th 2022 at the Nespelem Community Center. Dressing will be 1pm Tuesday, June 14th 2022 at River Valley Funeral Home in Okanogan.
