Dillon Shawn Gregg

Dillon Shawn Gregg 28, left us unexpectedly and way too soon on March 13, 2022. He was born in Omak on August 12, 1993 to Eric Gregg and Michele (LaMotte) Gregg. Dillon was a happy baby with lots of energy. At the age of 6 weeks old he was introduced to his first camping trip and so began his love of the outdoors. Many camp outings later with his mom, dad and other family members and friends to almost every lake or camp site throughout the Okanogan Valley, led him to appreciate the beauty and exploration of nature and the freedom to run, play, fish and enjoy the wonders of our area. He began school at North Omak elementary where he was active in soccer, flag football and wrestling. He completed his education at Sumner High in Sumner, WA where his dad was residing. Dillon’s last occupation was as a salesman for a car dealership also in Sumner. He absolutely loved his job and was a natural at it with his friendly winning smile and outgoing personality, which resulted in his being among those in top sales. Dillon will be truly missed by all who knew him and loved him. Dillon was preceded in death by great grandparents Ralph and Betty Wilson of Omak, LeRoy and Mildred LaMotte, Foy and Floy Gregg. Grandparents Bob and Mary (LaMotte) Morrow; aunt Kelly Gregg and uncle Darren Gregg. He is survived by his parents, Eric and Michele; sister Nydia and Zach Epps and their children Eli, Payton, Adeline and Grace; brother Paris Gregg; stepmom Belem Gregg and her extended family. Grandparents Edwin LaMotte, Caroll and Ethelee Haynes, Lloyd and Bea Gregg, great grandmother Carolyn Todd Wilson, and special friend Rachel (Ray) Knapp and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Viewing will be Saturday, March 26th between 5-7 pm at River Valley Funeral on Elmway. Graveside service with Pastor Jack Schneider officiating will be Sunday, March 27th at 1:00 pm at Okanogan Valley Memorial Gardens on the Conconully Hwy. Please join us after the service at 2:00 pm at the Okanogan Eagles on Okoma Drive for dinner and to share memories of Dillon.
