Dennis Allen Fadden

Dennis Allen Fadden, born on February 5, 1946, passed away peacefully at home on December 14, 2023, surrounded by the love of his family and the memories of a life well-lived. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Lucile Roberson, his father, Sidney Earl Fadden, his step-father Archie Roberson, his son Stephen Allen Fadden, his sister Pamela Rae Chonzena, and his brothers Wayne Lee and David Eugene Fadden. Dennis was a man of many passions and interests, each of which left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. He found great joy in raising horses and cattle, cultivating a deep connection with the land that mirrored his own steadfast and nurturing spirit. Dennis's love for the equestrian and cattle worldextended to his involvement in rodeo, both as a contestant and a supporter for all this rodeoing grandchildren. He spent decades in the steer barn at the Okanogan County Fair where he not only found excitement but also shared valuable lessons with his children, grandchildren, as well as numerous young kids in the Cameron Lake Loop area. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched, not only as a provider but as a mentor and guide. Dennis instilled in others a love for the land, a respect for hard work, and an enduring passion for the pursuits that brought him joy. In the tapestry of his life, Dennis leaves behind a cherished family: his wife Melanie, his children – RexAnne (Roger) Hennigs, Tony (Crystal) Hawley, Shawn Fadden, Tammy Fadden, Nobalea Paszkeicz; Grandchildren – Dallan Fadden; Dustin, Nathan and Braden Hennigs; Cody, Rebecca, and Lincoln Hawley; Matthew and Tyler Johnson, Jeff and Krystal Hill and Kelsey Laisure, and Great-Grandchildren – Axel Fadden, Dominick and Haley Fadden, Lucille Hennigs, Sadie Hennigs - all of whom were deeply loved and fortunate to be a part of his remarkable life. As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the rich tapestry of memories he leaves behind—a life of dedication, love, and shared passions that will forever echo in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. A viewing to honor and remember Dennis will be held on Friday, December 22nd from 4pm to 6pm at the River Valley Funeral Home in Okanogan. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Okanogan County Fair for the Steer Barn specifically, reflecting Dennis's commitment to the values he held dear. Please join us in remembering and celebrating the life of Dennis Allen Fadden, a man whose spirit will forever ride on in the hearts of those who loved him.
